  • For over eleven years, Jim was responsible for selling both printed document presentment (document composition) software and electronic bill presentment & payment services over the Internet to new clients with a focus on the utilities industry. During this time, Jim is recognized for introducing the use of document composition software to the utilities industry. He built a customer base of nearly 60 companies, that included over 20 of the 30 electric utility companies listed in the Fortune 500. His customers that were using the licensed software he sold were printing over 50 million customer bills and notices a month with the product. In addition, Jim was a speaker at several industry conferences presenting topics on document composition and electronic bill presentment & payment.

  • Corporate Cash Management Services (a/k/a Treasury Management Services)
  • For over thirteen years, Jim was responsible for managing and selling corporate cash management services to clients. These services included Account Analysis, Account Reconciliation, Automated Clearing House (ACH), Cash Concentration, Lockbox, and Payroll processing. Jim and his team built a customer base that included over 2,500 companies and banks using one or more of these services. He orchestrated one of the first Automated Clearing House (ACH) Corporate-to-Corporate Payment programs in the United States.

  • Financial Services Processing
  • For over six years, Jim was responsible for managing an account executive team that provided support to over 300 banks and financial institutions that utilized M&I's service bureau processing. The major services provided included Demand Deposit and Savings Account processing, Loan Account processing, General Ledger processing, and Electronic Funds Transfer processing. Jim's team successfully managed existing client retention through M&I Data Services expansion into becoming a nationwide processor and through significant changes in the marketplace driven by deregulation in the banking industry.

Additionally, Jim served on the National Automated Clearing House Association (NACHA) Board of Directors for four years in the early 1980s. He is a past President of the Wisconsin Automated Clearing House Association (WACHA) and served on their Board of Directors for over ten years.

Jim graduated in 1972 from the University of Wisconsin - Oshkosh and received a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics and Computer Science.
